Allowance

I was changing Henry's diaper (yes, he is still in diapers) and I said, "Tomorrow is Saturday, you'll get your allowance. You'll get 50 cents!" (Feel free to call me cheap, and I think my sister started her kid out with $5, but I'll accept the label 'cause I think $5 is RIDICULOUS.)
"Oh," says Henry.
"You lucky duck," I say, "I wish I got 50 cents every Saturday."
"You could," says Henry, "if you listened to my words."
(This is actually somewhat ironic as his allowance isn't even contingent upon listening to our words, but rather that he eats well and uses the potty frequently.)

I eat well and uses the potty frequently. They kinda go hand in hand.

I think Henry is right! We all are to listen to him. He understands the power of words--and that obviously has much to do with his Mommy and Daddy--and little bruddah! So, with that understanding, he talks A LOT!
